Pool Day!

Hello!

Pool Day was obviously having fun in a pool, unless if you did not do everything on Task completion. If you have not done one task you stay out of the pool for five minutes. I had not done task completion so I stayed out. Later I was going to jump in the cold pool but it was our turn to go on the hydro slide so I slowly ran to the teacher as she handed out the the orange bands (That allows you to slide) that go round out arm. Me and me friends had so much fun.

Term 4 PBL driving question!

This term for PBL, Our driving question is ''How can I celebrate who I am?'' We all had to pick a country out of a hat. The teacher had a hat and asked us to pick one without looking in side. I put my hand in the hat and puled one out. I Got Croatia! Everyone who had the same Country was a Group. I was in a group of three, Two boys and me. We had to pick one dish and one national sport. Croatia's national sport is Handball But I didn't Know anything about it so I found out the top three national sport of Croatia. The top three national sports are: Handball, Basketball, and Water polo. I do water polo so I picked water polo.

Tom clenched his fists until the knuckles were white. He sighed deeply, stood up and stormed toward the door without saying another word. He opened the door and slammed it behind him. His ten teammates sat staring at each other in stunned silence.

I think tom is a boy because it says ''Tom clenched his'' I think tom is strong because ''slammed the door''. I think tom is feeling angry because ''He opened the door and slammed it behind him''.  I think tom is inside because there was a door.

Hannah’s eyes grew as big as saucers and she began to clap her tiny hands together. As soon as the present was within reach, she grabbed it and began ripping off the paper. She was giggling and squealing with delight.

I think Hannah is a girl because it says ''she began to clap her tiny hands together'' I think Hannah is amazed because it says ''Hannah’s eyes grew as big'' and ''she began to clap'' I think Hannah is feeling happy because it says ''She was giggling and squealing with delight'' I think under a Christmas tree because it says ''she grabbed it and began ripping off the paper''

Fred hobbled toward the counter. He reached into his pocket and with a shaking hand pulled out his old leather wallet. As he got his money out, he noticed the picture of his wife Molly. All of a sudden his eyes became sad and after paying for his chocolate he quickly put his wallet back into his pocket. Thanking the shop assistant he left the shop and headed home for a lonely night in front of the television.

I think Fred is a boy because it says ''He reached into his pocket'' I think Fred is a nice person because he thanked the shop assistant before leaving. I think Fred sad because he lost his wife. I think Fred is in a shop because there was a shop assistant.

How to make Fritule

What you will need:
1.	Baking Powder
2.	Yogurt
3.	Vanilla
4.	All-purpose Flour
5.	Sugar
6.	Granulated Sugar
7.	Two eggs
8.	Oil
9.	Salt
10.	Two Bowls

Recipe:
Step 1.	First grab a bowl and put twelve grams of baking powder into the bowl.
Step 2.	Next put four hundred grams of flour in the bowl and mix.
Step 3.	In another bowl mix sugar, eggs, salt,vanilla and yogurt.

Lebanon

Lebanon is a small country of 10,452 kilometers squared, located in the Middle East on the

eastern shore of the Mediterranean sea. At the crossroads of three continents: Africa, Asia

and Europe. Lebanon has a long coast stripe and has two mountain ranges. There are

remaining few cedars forest in these mountains they are protected now.

The population of lebanon is 6,886,162. New Zealand is about 26 times bigger than lebanon

and it has 2,088,828 more people than New Zealand. Most of these people live in the

capital: Beirut as it is a popular place to work and enjoy living. Beirut is too crowded,

well . . . because it is small and it very popular. 

The climate of Lebanon is generally subtropical when it's summer it usually gets up to about

40.6 degrees Celsius and in winter is 0 degrees Celsius.

The Lebanese flag is a line of white in the middle of the flag going from left to right, and red on

the top and on the bottom of the flag. There is a national tree in the center of the flag called

the cedar tree. The white in the flag represents peace and the snow on the mountains,

the red represents the blood of people in war who died and the cedar tree represents lebanon

and eternity, happiness and prosperity.

YMCA Wainui park Camp!

Hello there!

On Tuesday the 29 of October we went to YMCA Wainui park Camp.
There was a lot of fun things to do like:
1. Kayaking (singes or doubles (We did doubles))
2. High ropes
3. Orienteering
4. Raft build
5. Costarring
6. Outdoor living
7. Search and rescue
8. Archery
9. School led activity
10. Camp fire (Charlie)
11. Spotlight

What was FUN:
kayaking was very fun because when you paddle together you go very fast. I also like the shark Game we played where one boat is the shark and everyone else are fish. The shark will use the ore to tap the front of the fish if you are got tagged then you are a shark.

What was Challenging:
High rope was very scary, even if I was in a Harris and I had a helmet on because it was pretty high and there was all most nothing to hold on to! but don't worry you get a teem of three to four people to help you slowly fall down to the ground.

What I learnt:
I learnt how to make a camp fire (fire is called charlie). To mare a fire you need three elements: air, heat and fuel. I also learnt that pine cones, pine leaves and sticks are very good for making a camp fire. 

What I'm grateful for:
I am grateful for all the food that the teachers made for us. I am also grateful for all the instructors for teaching us how to make a fire or an shelter.

How to play water polo!

Water polo is the 3rd national sport of Croatia!

Rules
1.	You can't grab the ball with two hands Unless you are the goalie behind the linemeter line. (Red thing on the image)
2.	You can't sink the ball
3.	Do not punch or Kick others
4.	Do not grab others or jump on them
5.	No goggles
6.	you can't touch the bottom of the pool

What you need
1.	Water polo ball
2.	Water polo Goal
3.	Water polo caps
4.	Swim gear
5.	Pool
6.	Referee
7.	Whistle
8.	Friends/players

How to play
Step 1.	First you need one person who knows all the rules to be the Referee.
Step 2.	Next, you divide you friends in the 2 groups.
Step 3.	Have 7 of your friends on one side of the pool and 7 on the other side, like this.
Step 4.	The Referee will place the ball on one side of the pool and blow the whistle.
Step 5.	Swim for the ball and throw it into the goal with one hand.
