Simple, Compound, and Complex sentences! Reading W3

In our writing workshop we were learning about sentences. there are three different types of sentences: simple, compound, and complex.

We had to change this Instruction from bad to good and if you can use simple, compound, and complex sentences.

bad Instructions:

Put your socks on your feet. Put your shoes on your feet. Cross your laces. Take one of your ends and put it through the hole. Tighten it. Take 1 lace. Fold the lace into a bunny ear. Take your lace that is not in a bunny ear and wrap it around the bunny ear once. Take that lace that you just wrapped look through the hole there is a lace pull it through. Tighten it. Cross your 2 bunny ears. Pull one ear through the tiny hole at the bottom. Pull again to tighten. 






My Instructions:

♦ ♦ ♦ HOW TO TIE YOUR SHOELACE ♦ ♦ ♦

Firstly crouch down with one knee hold the top of your sock.

Then Place your toe inside the sock and pull the sock up toward you.

Next take your shoe and place your toe in.

Grab the end of the laces and make an X.

After that take one end of the lace and put it through the hole.

Then pull the laces in opposite ways to tighten it.

Take one lace and fold it into a bunny ear.

Next Take your lace that is not a bunny ear and wrap around the bunny ear once.

Look through the bunny ear, you should see a lace.

Take the lace and pull it through and Tighten it.

Make an Cross with the two bunny ears and pull one ear through the tiny hole at the bottom.

(optional) Pull once more to tighten it.
